Lawrence County SNIPS! Program

Updated: Jun 12

The purpose of the Lawrence County SNIPS! Program is to provide financial support for Lawrence County, Tennessee residents to have their dogs or cats spayed or neutered, especially for those who need financial assistance. The amount of financial support is based upon household income and the number of residents in the household.  The pet owner will be responsible for paying the remaining co-payment that is not covered by the program.

The project is a joint effort by the Friends of Lawrence County Animals (FOLCA) and the non-profit organization, People for Animals (PFA).

SNIPS! screeners will interview applicants to determine the amount of financial assistance they will receive and will reimburse the participating veterinarian clinics with the amount of the financial assistance for each spay or neuter procedure.

Only residents of Lawrence County Tennessee may participate in this program.
